Hypnotize

Flynn is a light and sound sculpture representing the materialization of the virtual’s grip on physical space. Taking place in the real, it inevitably captures the gaze by a hypnotic luminous dance and immersive sounds.

By saturating the visual and auditory senses with stimuli that are sometimes fascinating, sometimes disturbing or playful, the installation brings together the concepts of attention retention algorithms used by social network to keep us captivate.

Captivate

            Placed in a urban environment, Flynn occupies a space torn from everyday use and imposes itself as an essential materiality both literally and figuratively by creating an interface between two worlds that are interconnected, and proposes a reflection around the physical place, mental and social confiscated by social networks and artificial intelligences in everyday life.
