TRANSITION²

« Transitions » is a project to develop the old Brossette factories for the 2013 Nuits Sonores festival. The scenography of this 11th edition is organized around two architectural devices articulating the routes.

« Transition 2 » is a co-realized installation with the architecture agency LFA-Looking for Architecture. It is an immersive space-occupying device where a tangle of strings occupies a defined volume. A web of threads is woven. The threads cross, thicken and intersect above the audience. At the height of this interlacing, light and video redraw space and blur our perceptions in an unstable movement on the ceiling.

The objective of this device is to articulate heterogeneous places by creating an interactive space. The user is a player in the installation. Through a physical contact with the control surface, he intervenes on the evolution of the overall atmosphere of the room by acting on various parameters of the video projection such as color, rhythm or the very nature of the mappings.
